How can I block or unblock my Pockit card?
You can put a (temporary) block on your Pockit card for additional peace of mind and unblock it at any time afterwards. This can easily be done within your Pockit app or via the web function.
The card block features can only be used a limited number of times within a period:
- Daily limit: 10
- Weekly limit: 15
- Monthly limit: 30
If you exceed any of these limits, you will not be able to block your card for the remainder of that period. Rest assured that even if you've exceeded your limits, you can still replace the card (subject to the card order fee).
Please note that the temporary card block feature should not be used to stop a merchant you've shopped with from taking legitimate payments. If you want a merchant to stop taking taking payments from your account, please contact them directly.
To do so from within the Pockit app:
Log into the Pockit app
Tap on 'Account'
Make sure you're in the 'Card' section
Tap on 'Lock card'
Answer the security question
Alternatively if you want to do it via the web:
Log into your Pockit account
Click on 'Manage cards'
Click on 'Block card'
