What are additional cards?

Additional cards are a way to add an extra card to your account for someone else to use.  These cards are typically used to add friends, family and even carers / babysitters to your account to easily manage and pay day-to-day expenses. When you add an additional card, it would be in the other person’s name. Despite having a similar functionality as a “joint account” they cannot formally be classified as one.

There are two types of additional cards:

  1. a “shared balance” card, and

  2. a “separate balance” card (to help easily manage the balances between the cards)

When you add an additional card to your account, that person will get their own login details to access the balance on your account.

Note that you can only add an additional card via the web logic. Click here to get directed to the right page.

The cost of adding an additional card is £4.99 per card.

Please note that an additional cardholder must be at least 13 years old to be added as an additional cardholder
