I don't recognise a Direct Debit, what should I do?

If you do not recognise a Direct Debit, contact the merchant directly first, and try to understand the situation. Merchant will typically be able to help you get things sorted more easily.


If the merchant is unwilling/unable to help please contact us via the chat function or by sending us an email.


When contacting Pockit, please ensure to include the following details:


  • The transaction details: date, amount, merchant name

  • The reason for your dispute: for example, incorrect date, incorrect amount etc

  • Supporting evidence for your claim such as the merchant's response to your contact


We then may be able to dispute the Direct Debit directly with the merchant on your behalf. You can find out more by clicking here.


Please note that a dispute cannot be raised to resolve contractual disputes.
