What does Pockit accept as a proof of source of funds in your Pockit account?

We accept the following documents as a way to confirm a source of funds in your Pockit account:


Wages / Payslips
  • Your payslip must be dated within the last 3 months


Funds sent by family member/friend/partner



  1. Messages showing discussion regarding payment in question
  2. Bank statements
  3. Transaction confirmation showing the sender’s name, the date of the transaction in question and the destination

Government benefits
  • Letter or online account that shows your benefit entitlement/payments you will be receiving.
  • It must clearly show your full name on the document

Pensions ?
  1. Private pension statement from your pension provide
  2. DWP letter if you receive a state pension

Your business
  1. Correspondence with HMRC
  2. Tax returns
  3. Receipts
  4. Invoices
  5. Messages with clients/customers
  6. Adverts
  7. Business account bank statements
  8. Licences/qualifications

Inheritance ?

  1. Letter from a solicitor confirming the inheritance amount
  2. Grant of probate from a court

Real estate or rental income ?

  • Tenancy deed or a bank statement

Investments ?

  • Investment statement from an investment company

Trust income ?

  • Bank statement of the trust confirming the trust name

Lottery ?

  • Letter from the lottery confirming the amount

Legal settlement ?

  • Settlement document confirming the amount


Sold or bought items



  1. Receipts
  2. Invoices
  3. Messages between buyer & seller
  4. Postage confirmation
  5. Advertisements


Cash load



  1. Payslips from the last 3 months
  2. Where funds were withdrawn from another account — we need to see a bank statements showing where/when cash was withdrawn
  3. Where funds were given from another person – we need to see any messages you may have plus documents confirming the origin of the cash given
